First, when you start off in Animal Crossing: Wild World, you get a small shop called Nook's Cranny. Then you will get Nook'N'Go eventually after spending a certain amount of money. Then comes Nookway. Then if you spend a large amount of money and have a friend from another town (DS to DS or Wi-Fi) buy something from your shop and you will get Nookingtons. It has a hair salon and a second floor for furniture.
